Панцирь эллиптический, вазовидный, дорсовентрально сплющенный. Передний край спинной выступающий, брюшной – мелкий,с острой срединной вырезкой. Задний край панциря обычно с 2 боковыми шипами и отверстием для ноги. Длина панциря 115–120, ширина 105–110 мк.
Евразия.
Широко распространен.
Небольшие водоёмы.
Среди водной растительности.
Очень низкая численность.
