Раковина среднего размера, плоскоскиральная, правозавитая, мало инволютная, твердостенная; рогового, серого, бурого, темно- или светло-коричневого цвета. Поверхность ее тусклая или блестящая, иногда даже глянцевая. Оборотов 5-6, редко 6-7. Ширина их возрастает медленно и довольно равномерно.
