Передние края панциря с боковыми шипиками. Панцирь почти округлый или широко эллиптический, иногда с поперечной спинной складкой у переднего края и брюшной над ногой. Задний сегмент короткий, округлый, иногда немного заходит за задний край. Первый членик ноги неясный, второй – большой, чаще почти квадратный.
Всесветен.
Повсеместно.
