Стронгилоиды длиной 3,5-9 мм, шириной 0,05-0,095 мм. Ротовое отверстие окружено тремя маленькими губами. Хвостовой конец сужен и округлен. Вульва находится на расстоянии 1-2,3 мм от хвостового конца. У свободноживущих самок и самцов пищевод с двумя бульбусами, у паразитических особей - цилиндрической формы.
Космополит, повсеместно.
В Казахстане встречается повсеместно.
Тонкий отдел кишечника.
Овца, коза, сайга, верблюд, крупный рогатый скот, свинья, грызуны.
