Длина тела 15,2 мм, ширина 0,112 мм. Хвостовой конец спиралевидно свернут, снабжен на вентральной стороне гофрированными кутикулярными крыльями. Спикулы изогнутые.

Крупный рогатый скот, овца, коза, косуля, марал, лос, сайга, джейран, изюбр, архар, верблюды.
Мухи - южная коровья жигалка (Lyperosia tittillans).
Не имеет.
