Description

Длина их тела 3-13 мм, ширина 4-5 мм, диаметр брюшной присоски – 3,650 мм, отношение его к длине тела 1:4. Ротовая присоска рудиментирована, а брюшная расположена на заднем конце тела.

Localisation

Преджелудки, двенадцатиперстная кишка.

Definitive hosts

Крупный рогатый скот, овца, коза, северный олень, дикие жвачные животные – зубр, лось, пятнистый олень, косуля.

Intermediate hosts

Пресноводные моллюски из семейства Planorbidae (катушки).
