Спинная сторона гладкая, брюшная – с поперечными складками. Второй членик ноги обычно не заходит за край панциря. Пальцы длинные, широколанцетовидные, заостряющиеся. Общая длина живого 170–200, сократившегося 111–120, длина спины 72–83, ширина 40–55, длина брюшная 75–90, шригна 40–55. Длина пальцев 25–40 мк. Самцы известны длина 110–115 мк.
Космополит.
Широко распространен.
Среди сфагнума, в заросших прудах, лужах, в прибрежной зоне озёр и береговом песке.
Очень низкая численность.
