Pаковина коническая умеренно тонкостенная, шов глубокий. Последний оборот к устью заметно опущен с нерезким углом на периферии. Окраска светлороговая, часто со слабыми светлыми пятнами, периферический угол белый. Эмбриональные обороты блестящие.

Обитает в крупнообломочных осыпях и на скалах на высоте 1500—2000 м над ур. м.
