Довольно массивные трематоды красного цвета с выраженными присосками. Длина тела 13,5-18,5 мм, ширина 5,5-8,5 мм. Ротовая присоска значительно крупнее брюшной. Глотка частично прикрыта ротовой присоской, пищевод короткий. Два кишечных ствола расположены по бокам тела и заканчиваются в задней части.
Индо-Китай, Япония, Южная Америка, Крым, Киргизия, Дальний Восток.
В Казахстане этот вид обнаружен в средней и низкогорной подзоне хребтов Тянь-Шаня.
Поджелудочная железа.
Крупный рогатый скот, буйвол, овца, коза, двугорбый верблюд.
Сухопутные моллюски Е. lantzi, Bradybaena similaris, В. phaeozona и другие.
Кузнечики из рода Conophalus maculatus. В роли последних в Китае служат сверчки Nemobiya caibae.
