Description

Голова конусовидной формы, выдающаяся вперед, занимающая почти половину тела. Рядом с вентральным краем имеется выступающий глаз. Постеровентральная часть несет разгруппированные краевые шипы и щетки.

Geographic distribution

Эндемичный восточноазиатский; юг Дальнего Востока (Средний Амур и Приморье), в рыбоводных прудах Казахстана и Узбекистана.

Юго-Восточный Казахстан.

Places of residence

Крупные озера и мелкие водоемы, водохранилищ, пруды, рыбоводные пруды, болота, рисовые чеки.

Мало иследована. планктонный вид. pH = 7,2–8,5.
