Задние боковые шипы почти равный длине панциря без придатков. Панцерь с более или менее выраженной скульптурой в виде точек. Длина панциря 328–418, ширина 156–234 мк.
Европа (Бельгия, Нидерланды, Польша, Эстония, Украина).
Юго-Восточный Казахстан.
Повсеместно среди макрофитов и в пелагиали пресных, солоноватых и морских вод.
