Раковинка зеленоватая или желтовато-коричневая, с ретикуляцией и скульптурой в виде полосок или рядов мелких бугорков. Створки овальные. Брюшной край покрыт щетинками. Задний край створок высокий, составляющий больше половины наибольшей высоты створок. Голова низкая, не отделена от туловища. Рострум короткий, направленный вниз.

Придонный, зарослевый.
